Photographic collection, 1903-1940.

Collection of, and primarily photographed by Chris Emil Olsen, of a variety of subjects, personal and scientific. Shows many oceanographic subjects, including underwater photography, models and illustrations, and the Pearl Divers Group in the American Museum of Natural History, of which Olsen was chief modeler; also shows Dr. Roy Waldo Miner. Collection also includes Museum memorabilia, such as a plaque of J.P. Morgan and the Museum's tower eagle. Photographs were also taken by Charles H. Coles and Roy Waldo Miner. Photographs are identified.
